Characters and the fights are the best thing of this show. I was still not the biggest fan of the manga. Too much exposition and explaining of their magic system later on. Lots of convoluted elements that characters are explaining in dialogue or inner monlogues even in the middle of the battle. But yeah the fights are going to be dope and the character design is good as well at least.

Honestly didn't mind the exposition. What rubbed me off the wrong way in the manga was Yuzuriha surviving. It felt like the author pussied out because she's a popular character The manga is still great just a minor gripe tbh

at the at point, Most of the cast surviving lol. Like they had to gaslit us that "only 2 Yin and 1 yang will survive" 2 male and 1 female.... But turns out they killed off the 2nd batch of Asaemons instead lmao

mangaka or any creator bending over his creativity just to run behind others satisfactions, sadly just loses my interests & respect.

I would rather a dumb decision, a bad ending or straight bad character building made from the decision of the author solely than the pressure of consumers

it's still milestones way better then Yuji Kaku's next manga Ayashimon... Where they made the main character just a worst copy of Gabimaru.

Honestly I think it just shows how little effort is put into character design in most shows. On another note do you remember Juuni Taisen? That frigging show spent half the season introducing the mc and killing him off one after the other lmfao this one reminds me of that

Lool, yeah, I remember that. They would spend 1-2 episodes just on their back story and then kill em off. So you never knew who was going to win.

I hope this anime goes in a similar direction and really makes us believe the white hair dude is the main, only for him to be killed in the most shocking moment. That would be sick.
